Our love for Yarns goes back to 1965 when our parent company M/s Jitendrakumar Lalbhai & Co ( JKL ) was born. JKL started trading in yarns with the monopoly of M/s Azamjahi Mills – Warangal selling hank yarns in 6s, 2/14s, 2/30s to Solapur which was then the largest yarn consuming centre for production of jackard bedsheets.

The big jump arrived in 1978 when JKL started Yarn Indenting business with the agency of M/s The Patell Mills Co Ltd for selling cotton yarns. After this there was no looking back. Business grew and alongwith it the Goodwill. Asarwa Mills agency followed in 1979 and in 1982 The Bombay Dyeing & Mftg Co Ltd . JKL takes pride in the fact that even today they represent both Asarwa and BombayDyeing as their yarn selling agents in domestic market – a fact which represents the business culture and philosophy of developing and maintaining long term relationships.

Today JKL stands as one of the leading Yarn Indenting companies in the domestic arena representing more then 20 top spinning mills which include reputed names like Asarwa , BombayDyeing , Ginni , Winsome , Abhishek , STI , Rajapalayam , Gem , Welspun and others.The product portfolio has grown from cotton yarns to encompass synthetic , blended , dyed , gassed , mercerized , acrylic , chenille , corespun , slubs , sewingthreads , texturised and various other speciality yarns as well as fabrics. Top customers in India like Arvind , Ashima , BharatVijay and many others today rely on JKL to satisfy their demanding yarn needs.

Acme was formed in 1996 as a joint venture between JKL and Kejriwal family. The vision was to take a forward step to look at the market potential beyond India – the world market and to utilize the groups inherent yarn sourcing strengths to cater effectively and professionally to the world market. The tradition of trust , reliability and longterm relationships was to be carried forward to cater to worldwide clientele.
